Copper Lakes Community
Copper Lakes, ponds, and lakes are not natural. Because they're not natural, algae growth can spiral out of control, especially in stagnant water in the warm summer months. Copper Lakes ponds have a dark green to brown tinge to the water. Many people (including prospective residents) find this color to be unattractive. People use pond dye to maintain the aesthetics of their body of water, which helps keep property values high. Many people don't realize pond dyes can help inhibit certain nuisance algae from growing. Once the water dissolves the dye, it starts to absorb sunlight, thereby reducing the depth of the photic zone. Dying in our Ponds and Lakes will reduce submerged plants and algae growth in our ponds and lakes.
Dying your pond is not a substitute for pond management. As time goes by, leaves and other organic matter will fall into the water and sink to the lowest point—where beneficial bacteria cannot break it down. Nutrient levels will grow even higher, and nuisance plant/algae outbreaks will become even more severe.
The pond dye we use is not only effective but also safe for our community. Its ingredients are environmentally friendly and non-toxic, making it safe for humans, animals, reptiles, and fish. The Pond And Lake dyeing will be performed by our lake management company, ensuring the appropriate amount of dye is used for the volume of water. This means that fish living in dyed water are safe to eat, and dogs can safely swim in it. With these safety assurances, we can all enjoy the benefits of pond dyeing without any concerns.
Maintaining an HOA pond or lake requires much preventative maintenance to ensure that the body of water stays aesthetically pleasing and property values are high.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to forward them to Inframark.
Regards

Good day Residents!
As you may have noticed, the Association has worked diligently to remove the 2021 freeze damaged plant material and install new plant material throughout the community’s common areas. While this has taken more time than expected, the Association is working on the final stages of implementing the new landscape re-design.
During this time the Association has requested Inframark to put a hold on sending residents deed restriction violation letters requesting homeowners to remove and/or replace dead landscape on their property. However, this hold will be lifted shortly.
On the next inspection scheduled for mid-October the Association will begin sending letters requesting the removal and/or replacement of dead/missing landscape.
Please take this time to address landscape issues on your property. If you schedule work during this time and receive a letter, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the management company and advise that you have scheduled the work to be completed.
The Association would like to thank all residents for their patience as they worked through implementing the new landscape re-design.
Have a wonderful rest of your day!
Many of you might have noticed that the common area landscape sprinklers are watering at odd times of the day. We have recently upgraded some landscaping and added some sod to our common areas. These new plantings require additional watering due to the high heat and dry weather we have been encountering. Because of these issues we are increasing our watering and in many cases watering twice a day to ensure that we do not lose these new plantings. We hope that this doesn't provide any inconvenience for anyone, thanks and have a great day.
